Reading Tegan's note, Gina nodded. She kept her relief hidden, because it shouldn't have been only about her and the other nurses. But she was inwardly very glad that they wouldn't be facing a rightful lawsuit. Those were very hard to fight. "Okay," she said with a smile. "I'm sorry to bring up such an unpleasant topic, but I thought that it was your right, Tegan, to know about it."
But now was time for happier things. "Of course, I thought you wouldn't mind," she said lightly, glancing between them. "After all, Nick has been more attentive to you than some husbands of patients I've seen." It was an innocent enough comment, but she hoped that it would be a slight kick in Nick's rear.
