When all was said and done, Anthony knew he couldn't expect everything to fall into place once he moved to New York. The mysteriuous composer was not going to show on his doorstep and Anthony's life wouldn't be all fun and games after that. To be honest, he wasn't even sure what he was going to do (if) when he found the composer. And he had bigger concerns now, like finding a job before he ran out of money.
Then there was the part where apparently everyone in the building was some sort of storybook character that changed with the full moon. Or at least, that's what they had said. Full moon had come and gone and nothing had happened. But the way older residents had talked about it on the forum...
He would have to wait and see what happened with the next full moon.
One day at a time, he told himself and he made his way to the park. For now, he had plans to get home, relax, look at the classified ads and work a little harder tomorrow. He thought about taking out a cigarette, but he had been trying to cut the habit a bit. Instead, he kept walking, hands in pockets as he tried to focus on his surroundings.
