The very incongruous mention of a vase had caught Sherri's attention, but she let it go in favor of getting Joss safely inside and the door closed. Once that was done, she tried to move on to practical matters, such as getting Joss away from disturbing things like her bloodstained clothes. "Joss, sweetie, I'm going to get you some things to change into... come on, let's get you into the bathroom, and we can start running you a nice hot bath." Sure, she hadn't actually kept Joss company while she was taking a bath since they were kids, but she wasn't about to let her stay in there on her own, not at the moment.

She tried to pull her up once again, gripping under her arms and tugging. In fact, she'd welcome a chance to get out of her own clothes, as gross and hot as they were. "Just a little further, okay? Can you do that for me?" She really hoped so; she was pretty sure she didn't have the upper body strength to carry her.
