Who: Group Xi, Delta and Omega
What: Homecoming
Where: Bellum lobby / County General Hospital
When: Midnight
Warnings: Group Log - proceed with caution

Despite the difference in time and time zone, it's midnight in 1789 France, 1917 Russia and 1929 Chicago when our residents simply vanish, disappear. Their disappearances are noted and (subsequently) lost in history. They were there, but they affected no large events, no matter how they behaved.

At midnight, headaches overtake each and every tenant, and a while light glares brightly as they materialize, every last one, in the lobby of Bellum Letale. Bloody, burnt and bleeding, they arrive, but their tales are silent - every last one.

An ambulance can be heard in the distance, and it can only be assumed someone dialed 911.

[This is a party-style post. Place your location in the subject line of your threads, and feel free to move your characters to Orange County Hospital at any time during the group-log.]

She shook her head, not able to explain. The problem was that it wasn't just what had happened in the last few days in Chicago were affecting her - there was a sudden, horrifying awareness that she'd fucked up. Not only by that man dying, but repeatedly throughout her past. "Everything," she wailed, before squeezing Sherri again.

She must have looked terrible and was causing a scene - that was the usual, wasn't it? - but Joss didn't care. "I fucked up, I really fucked it up - really, really, oh god, Sherri." She wasn't going to be coherent any time soon, as scenes replayed in her head. From when she was little to now – every little thing to catch attention to have her own good time. They all added up and she put a stained hand to her head.

ā€œI’m so, so sorry.ā€

"It's okay, it's okay." Sherri glanced around, relieved to see that most people seemed to be too focused on those who were injured to care about their little scene. Joss would probably be embarrassed about it, later, she thought. For the moment, though, all that mattered was getting Joss calmed down at least enough to be coherent, and getting her somewhere safe so she could clean up. "You're okay, you're fine."

She couldn't even begin to comprehend what Joss was apologizing for, but the fact that she was apologizing at all was shocking and a little frightening. Something really bad must have happened, but Sherri didn't want to get into that sort of thing in public. "Can you stand up, sweetie? Can you get up for me, and we'll go to my apartment, and you can have a cup of hot chocolate?" She'd always used that as a lure when Joss was little. If it didn't work, she'd figure something else out.
