Cole left R1 feeling slightly better than he had before, and the main reason was Peter's involvement. The man was level-headed, rational, and smart. Maybe the situation wasn't entirely salvageable after all. He wasn't particularly looking forward to seeing Trenton again, and he doubted Micah was either, but they couldn't keep him down there much longer. It was a lot less cruel to keep him in his own penthouse, especially considering it probably had all the perks to keep him satisfied for a while.

He stopped suddenly at the second floor, casting a glance at Micah. "Do you have the key on you, or do you need to get it?" He'd seen the lock, and it looked pretty sturdy - which was a good thing, but not so much if they were going to end up trying to break it.

	He thought briefly that they might be putting too much pressure on Pete, but the man was capable - much more so than either of them were. "Alright." Cole raised his hand in a sort of half-wave before heading down the stairs, intending on getting as much sleep as he could before taking over guard duty. (Reply to this) (Parent)
