Oliver couldn't help his own smile, feeling strange and silly standing there, but then the kiss came, surprising him and making eyes widen before she pulled back. It took a moment to wrap his mind around the meaning behind that, but once he did, his smile warmed and he let out a laugh of his own. The moment seemed to call for it, that sound of cheer and joy.
"Thank you," he said at her prompting, his voice warm and throaty, rough around the edges from how he had worn it raw while screaming. He reached down for her hand, bringing it to his lips to press a kiss to her knuckles, lowering his eyes for a moment before releasing her fingers. "Thank you so much for that. I think that was the greatest gift anyone has ever given me."
