Who: Vlad and William What: Another neighborhood watch adventure Where: Around the building When: Backdated to before all the locking-up-Shane shenanigans Warnings: None?
Vlad hadn't expected to be assigned so many shifts when he volunteered himself for this building watch, but he couldn't exactly complain about it. As long as he wasn't paired with Shane again, he supposed he could manage more than one shift every few weeks. God help him if he was ever paired with Aiden - that encounter would likely end in disaster, and the probability of one of them ending up dead was high. Preferably, however, it wouldn't be himself.
Tonight he was on the 8 to 11:20 shift, which wasn't too bad, and at least he wouldn't have to wake up Helena in the middle of the night to leave. Once again he went through his usual routine - grabbing a flashlight, gun, and cell phone - before saying goodbye and heading down to the lobby. He wore a t-shirt and pants, simple attire for what would likely be another long boring night wandering around an uneventful building.
He leaned against the stair railing, arms folded across his chest while he waited for his partner for the night to appear.
