Peter wasn't too worried about anyone hearing him, if anything they'd think it was a metaphor. But he was keeping his voice low in any case.
He nodded, "Sometimes I think certain situations trump a need for privacy," he said easily. There was no question that if Iris needed an escape plan from the nightmares, then Pete was willing to offer it. He didn't know how it worked but he hoped she could figure it out when she needed to. And if she couldn't he found himself hoping he could help her again. "I didn't mean to barge in like that, I hope you know that," he said apologetically. "But I don't say things I don't mean," he paused slightly amused, "Which is probably a bad trait for a lawyer to have, but I want you to feel free to barge in any time."
