She was quiet for the remainder of the ride, her fingers softly petting both of their cheeks and hair. When the cab stopped, she paid, and she led the way up to the suite quietly too.
She kicked her shoes off just inside the door, and she let the hoodie fall to the ground, and she gratefully made her way to the large, king sized bed the room boasted. She crawled up onto it, and she patted the blankets (letting them know to come lie down). She didn't bother changing out of the clothes she was wearing, and she didn't bother suggesting they get a roll-away bed.
"Nicky, you get out of that old person's shirt before you crawl into this bed," she said, tugging the blanket and slipping her feet beneath it. "There's some shirts I stole from Shane in the top drawer," she offered.
