Nick gently rested his cheek on the top of Boyd's head, exhaling slowly. She was warm and safe, so Nick wasn't too worried for the moment. Boyd would be able to handle Jack and Evie, though he wasn't sure how well they would take it. It had to work out in the end, so he could go back home. Though sleep was sounding more like a good idea as they passed in to the city toward the hotel.
"Sounds good," Nick agreed, settling back in to the dark vinyl seat.
