Who: Bran and Katya What: A "what fable are YOU?" reading Where: Red Horse Tea shop When: Thursday at 4 Warnings: Other than socially awkward and moody Bran, none
Bran was already doubting his decision to visit this Katya woman - he'd had to dig through the forum to find out her name, as well as the name of her shop - since he usually preferred to interact with people who didn't live in the same building as himself and thus posed the possibility of being encountered again. Still, he'd made some more headway with Phantom, and his own curiosity was growing so large that it demanded to be satisfied. The woman in his dream had called him Erik, and he called her Christine - both were the principle characters in the novel. If this fable thing was true and there was a Christine in the building - he was leaning towards Lotte, considering the way she reacted whenever he spoke to her - then he might be the Phantom.
Part of him knew it was insanity, but another part of him still waited to cast judgment. He'd seen some strange things in his time with the gypsy circus, things that no one could explain, that people attributed to old magic and mysticism. It couldn't hurt to see what this woman had to say, and he wasn't worried about her keeping whatever she saw to herself. Bran knew that, if she posed any kind of threat, he would simply get rid of the problem. He was quick, efficient, and practically untraceable - it would barely be an afterthought.
Even though the day was warmer than most, he wore a pair of frayed jeans and a long-sleeved black shirt, but this time he was sans baseball cap. His face looked almost flawless, and Katya would only be able to tell that there was something off about the left side if she looked closely. It didn't take long to find the shop, and he studied the exterior for a moment before seemingly casting his approval and pushing open the door.
There were some people inside, not many - but even so Bran slunk along the walls, pretending to study various types of tea on the shelf in front of him. He had no idea what this Katya woman even looked like, but he tried to guess which one might be her from the corner of his eye.
