Oh, was she late. It was her own fault for thinking that she could watch just 45 minutes of a Law and Order episode. After all, what good was watching the whole thing if you couldn't stick around for the ending? She had hastily gotten dressed and presentable during the commercial breaks, throwing her frizzy hair into a ponytail and brushing her teeth as she wiggled into her jeans. Finally, she was dressed enough to pass as a human being.

She opened her door, ready to run for the stairs when something very big and very boxy held her still. Eyes wide, she looked down at the enormous box. For a second, she thought it was a joke. She poked at it with her toe, frowning, before finally picking it up and carrying it inside.

It was extremely light, but not empty. After jiggling it a few times, she cautiously opened one of the ends. A wave of cans spilled into her living room, earning a gasp of hate and confusion. What the hell? Suddenly, she caught sight of a note.

Opening it up, she looked at the pins attached, then down at the cans. A wry smile wound across her lips. Yeah. This would be enough.
