Lily could tell that something wasn't quite right with James from the time he came over the night before until now when she woke up. James was the most difficult person to wake up that she had ever encountered and yet he was obviously awake when she began to wake up. She didn't know exactly what was going on with him, but she didn't like it. She didn't want him to be upset about something and she didn't like not knowing how to make it better.
Stifling a yawn and stretching her legs, she shifted to turn in James' arms until she was facing him. It was really a brilliant feeling to wake up next to him, probably her favorite feeling ever. Well, at least it was on par to everything else she felt when she was with him. It was a few more long moments before she actually opened her eyes and she tilted her head up to kiss him even before she opened them. Of course, not having seen exactly where his face was before she did so lead way to her nose nudging his and her mouth brushing across his face in the general vicinity of his lips before she got it right, but she was barely awake, could anyone really blame her?
Once she focused on him, though, she gave him a soft smile and said, quietly, "Mm, G'morning, love. Sleep alright?"
