Who: Gia, Rius and Santi are hosting a house warming party. Everyone they know is invited and probably word got spread out through the Romero pack, could be extended to the Legend pack and definitely welcoming crashers ;)
What: A house warming party!
When: September 17th - which is also the full moon. Wild Wolves are out to play!
Where: Gia, Rius and Santi's apartment

A party on a full moon? Why not? There was drinks flowing, music playing and generally a good time. While the party was for the three's "nearest and dearest" who says the Romeros' don't know how to have a good time? Maybe word got out. Or maybe it was posted in the family chat, which is never a great idea.

Come, party, bring a gift if you want; these boys are ready for a good time!

“Thank you!” Ari said with a smile as they accepted the drink, “I’m Ari and please don’t kick me out. I may be a party crashed but I’m not here to cause trouble. I am full of respect,” uh? How were they going to say this? “For the moon. If you know what I mean.” They took a sip of the cooler.

“It’s nice to meet you, Gia. You do seem to have a lot of people here!”

Gia tilted his head but smiled warmly. "Hey, I like the moon too. Like, a lot!" He grinned. "I'm cool with you. I won't kick you out. I don't really do the kicking out anyway. There's other bigger dudes for that. I'm more the guy who will give you a goodie bag and a drink to make sure you're enjoying yourself. I um...don't have anymore goodie bags, though. Sorry." He laughed softly. "Ari, huh? That's a cool name. Your parents must have been chill. My old man is very traditional, thus, the name." He chuckled. "I love him though. He should be around somewhere...If you ever want to meet the coolest dad in the city, I'll introduce you. Just try not to get too swoony. He has that weird effect on people."

Ari laughed. Gia was adorable. They wanted to get to know him better.

“Gia is a traditional… Spanish name?” Ari asked, “Maybe? I’m terrible with things like that. Also, what do I need to do to get a goodie bag? You mentioned it and now I want one,” they pouted at Gia, “I promise … well, I don’t know what to promise you but I will make the dangerous blanket promise. How’s that?” They smiled again.

“And now I want to meet the cool dad. As long as he’s okay with party crashers.”

Gia chuckled. Damn, alright. He was going to have to make another goodie bag. "If you want a goodie bag, you gotta come with me to kitchen. And Papi is okay with party crashers. He's pretty much always one himself." He grinned and winked. "I think it's a family trait, honestly. We all seem prone to it."

Rising up, he held out his hand for Ari with a smile. "Come on, Ari. We're gonna make you a goodie bag."

Ari took Gia's hand and smiled, "I'll go with you to the kitchen." What was in the kitchen? They were going to make a goodie bag? Now Ari really wanted to know what in the bag.

They gave his hand a squeeze and said, "Thank you for being so kind." They wanted to ask if he was a wolf. That wasn't something safe to ask. They were certain. They could feel it around them. This was a pack party, no? They were invading a sacred space. They owed respect.

"Your papi? He is the head of the family?" Of your pack?

Gia grinned and nodded, pride clear for his father. "He is- and he's great, really. I'll introduce you. He can come off kinda scary but that's sort of a family thing, I guess. My uncle is the same way. Scary to outsiders, but he's a good guy though, under all the scowling and angry face."

Guiding Ari into the kitchen, he tugged open the walk-in pantry and wiggled a gallon ziploc baggie at them before waving his hands in front of an impressive display of numerous individually packed snacks that would be any school kids dream. "Tadaaaa! Take whatever you want. I also have some gummies if you like those. We go for high calories here."

“Protective of you too, huh?” Ari asked as Gia talked about his father. Ari could see how much he loved his father. It made them miss theirs for a moment; he died a long time ago but that was a wound that didn’t go away. Especially when their other family seemed so elusive too.

Ari raised an eyebrow at the baggie then laughed when they saw the snacks. They gasped and immediately reached in and grabbed one, “Oh my god! Are these drunkeroos? I haven’t had these in so long!” The 90s, maybe? They couldn’t remember. They loved them. Wait. Was that fruit by the foot? And fruit roll ups? They looked at Gia, “I’m never leaving here. This is heaven, right here!”

Gia snorted softly and grinned. "Heck yeah! We have all the sugary snacks. We're a rowdy bunch so we have to stay stocked up, you know? Can't be out here starving just because we don't want to cook or it's late or something. This way, we're always covered. It's why I keep the freezer stocked with ice cream too. Sometimes? You just need to eat a whole pint of ice cream by yourself while watching TV, right?"

"I'm sure," Ari paused as they opened the package of drunkeroos and offered a cookie to Gia for dipping first, "that these do not make a meal. Unless you are eating the whole box and that is just a call for a stomachache," they grinned, "Besides that's why God invited delivery services. All the better to get real meals delivered to you. And this is pre-game snacks;, the meal before the meal." Not that they had done that. Or at least not with the snacks. Ari loved their delivery far too much.

Gia snickered and dunked the cookie in, popping it into his mouth with practiced skill. "We're not even going to talk about my investment in DoorDash. Like I use it so much that I told my Papi he should try to buy me stock so at least I can feel like I'm contributing to my own growth." He chuckled. "Plus, this is a house full of hungry dudes. We all eat like we've never been fed. Thankfully, we can cook. But it's a lot easier to just pick up a pizza or call someone, you know? Still....If I don't make a sit down meal at least once a week, I think I might get fat." He grinned and playfully nudged Ari with his hip. "You're cool, Ari. You should come have dinner with us sometime. I promise you it's not lame or something."

Ari bopped his hip back, “You’re cool too,” they smiled, “I’d love to have dinner with you guys! Trust me, there are no lame dinners.” This came from someone whose sole mission was to never cook. Well, no, but Lord did they try not to. They hated it. They had a lot of frozen dinners in their freezer.

Ari grabbed some snacks to make the goodie bag and looked back to Gia, “This is the best party I’ve crashed in a while. Thank you for letting me stay!”

Gianni grinned and laughed. "Sure thing! You're cool. I like cool people. You can come chill with us anytime, Ari. We haven't made like a secret knock yet or anything but if we do? I'll totally tell you."

With a smirk, his gaze shifted and seemed to brighten as he grinned. "Hey- you wanna meet my Papi?" He held his hand out to Ari then. "Come on. I'll introduce you- just smile and ignore if he looks grumpy at first. He always puts on such a hard man act." Gianni snorts. "He's the best though."

Ari grinned, "I can help with a secret knock. It should be uncomplicated, otherwise you will totally forget it and never be allowed into the secret clubhouse. Trust me, I know. Locked out of my own room." They sighed dramatically.

Ari took Gia's hand and nodded, "I'd love that! Should we bring him snacks? So he isn't as grumpy?" They reached and swiped a fruit by the foot. You always won friends with candy; tonight was proof of that!
