Having just taken a bite of his fish, Cass smirked, chewing it down and following up with a chip. 'Well nothing so spectacular about me,' he said with a grin. 'I wasn't well known enough.'
He waived away her sorry and shook his head. 'Unless you killed them, I don't really need you to be sorry,' he said with a small smile, half joking. It was easier to deal with this way.
He listened to her, adding a bit of vinegar to his chips before taking another, then smiling at her. 'I don't mind,' he said. 'As for my relatives, that has to do with the horrible sin my dad committed - which would be me.' He could see wasn't making any sense and put his fork down, swallowing a bit of his beer.
'My relatives were Death Eaters - not proven of course, or they'd be in jail, but they were all the same. Me, I'm a half blood. I taint their perfect bloodline.' He shrugged. 'But enough on the depressing subjects, I didn't come here to ruin your good mood,' he added with a smile.
