Characters: Alexander Moretti, King Price Setting: The Yacht Club, Riverside Content: Worksafe Summary: A discussion on Charity Works and Other Such Things
The press, and not his press, either, had called it a meeting of minds between two of Axis City's greatest entrepreneurs although personally Alexander would have liked to have pointed out that Kingston had inherited his company, not started it from scratch. But saying such a thing would only have been nit-picking.
They posed for the photographs though, shaking hands and smiling in front of the charity's banner. It was what the public wanted to see and that in turn was what Moretti wanted. Of course the discussion on donations and sponsorships and medical research had taken place days in advance, and that side of things was already agreed upon. But the public didn't need to know that- they only needed to know that The Yacht Club had generously given over the use of their grand chamber for the discussion between the two men, and it was believed that in the privacy of that room they would hash out and debate exactly what each man's business would do for the city.
"I didn't think they'd ever run out of film." He muttered under his breath, letting the smile slip for a moment as they turned and headed into the private and cooler sanctuary of the Club's innards. "So, King, how have you been?" He asked, not willing to discuss business until the doors were shut and they were certain they were alone. Stephen had already searched room, there were no bugs or recording devises that Moretti had not had placed himself, just in case. When dealing with other powerful people, it was best to be prepared.
