A flicker of surprise, but then he laughed. "Expensive tastes. Yes, fine." A murmured word in the intercom to his driver and his blackberry buzzed again, more urgently, but he just slipped it back into his pocket. He gave Aiden a surprisingly crooked smile and murmured: "Now I'll just have to flaunt, I suppose. Are you going to write me up for being overindulgent as well if we get nice wine there?"
He was surprised by the child, and it showed, but only for a moment before he smiled. "A son. More than one?" Child. Did Aiden have more than one kid. "How old?" Was surprisingly interested - not creepy, but just absently curious. From his pocket, another buzz, and for a brief moment King looked tired. "One moment, I have to answer this." A flash of his more polite, practiced smile, but he was already drawing his phone out, answering with a sharp: "What?"
A pause. "No. Send shipments 57 through 38 down instead. Yes, I know, but we have weeks before...no." A hiss through his teeth. "Up security, then." And he hung up, looking distracted - and a bit moody for a moment before he shrugged it off, visibly clearing his face. "I'm sorry. Your son?"
