Simone was always glad to have someone like Dylan to back her up, especially as he had more experience handling the press then she did. He was able to handle their questions and accusations with gentle good humour and understand, while Simone just found herself growing tense and angry. As if any of them had even an inkling of just how difficult policing Axis City had become. She’d like to see them try and face down someone who could shoot fire from his finger trips with only a gun and a riot shield for protection.
“Thanks,” She said as he passed, nodding in acknowledgment of the plan. She’d have to arrange some sort of dinner for the kid before she went. That was the toughest part of the job, not having long to spend at home, but some time she had to put what was best for the city ahead of what she wanted and she’d try and hash out a plan with Dylan to end this crime wave.
