Hunter frowned. He had just finished re-fitting the lights in the lobby. The furnace wouldn't ever make a noise like that, the boiler was working, the lift was newly repaired and it had worked less than five minutes ago. He twisted on the ladder, leaning down to peer out the window and try and find out what was going on, but it was impossible to tell from such an angle.
He climbed down wiping off his hands on his torn and dirt-blackened jeans as he stepped out the door and whistled. It was rare to see such a car like that in this part of town, at least one that wasn't stolen or wasn't moving so fast it was only a blur. He looked at it for a moment, unable to deny the beauty of it but unable to agree with such a monstrosity existing, before he looked to the driver, a young blonde man who seemed more than annoyed with his predicament.
"Want me to have a look under the bonnet?" He asked stepping forward. "I'm a mechanic. And it's probably not a good idea for you to linger around here too long."
