Audrey stood stock still, a small smirk playing on her lips and disguising tentative emotions, her aura positively dangerous and radiating. A few people went out of their way to avoid her, but she wasn't taking notice of anyone besides the man walking away with a fury.
That hurt. She was willing to admit it to herself in a moment of weakness, before she felt several pairs of eyes on her. Audrey looked around briefly and would've been able to pull it off casually had not everyone suddenly turned their attention on her at Richard's little outburst. Oh shit, she thought vehemently, clutching her wine glass harder than necessary. She smiled a little, hoping prying eyes would go back to their business. Some did, others weren't so easily dissuaded from being so damn nosy. She cursed in her head as she walked towards the entrance, the same path Richard had gone. She leaned against the open doors of the building as the lights inside flickered shortly, and watched Richard quietly, drawing no attention to herself. She wouldn't bother him but she wished he would leave already so she wouldn't have to keep thinking about anything related to him.
It was troubling seeing him so human as much as she enjoyed it.
