"Oh, je crois que tu parles un bon Français." Rachel said graciously, her eyes examining Audrey's body for a milissecond and then going back to staring into the younger woman's eyes.
"Misses Doyle." She informed, raising her eyebrows ever so slightly, amazed at her inquiry. Audrey had just scored a few points: etiquette was etiquette, and it was supposed to be followed. "But please, do call me Rachel." She gave her a half grin.
"Oh, yes. I'm a lawyer, and your father requested my services." She gave no more details, not wanting to make him a subject of the conversation. "He mentioned you once or twice. But I hear you're not working as a scientist anymore, is that right?"
