Audrey smiled appreciatively, "Je suis contente pour entendre cela, madame." She suddenly laughed nervously, ducking her head a little, "I'm sorry if my French sounds a little rusty, it's because it is."
The younger woman took her hand and shook it firmly with a smile, "Nice to make your acquaintance, Miss or Misses Doyle?" She hoped she didn't come off as brash for inquiring after her marital status but she figured it would be worse if she just started calling her 'Rachel'. The woman was older than her so the pretense of being respectful was pushed to the forefront.
