Even though he had been ready for nearly twenty minutes Aiden still jumped at the knock on the door. He gave himself another once over in the mirror, checking to make sure he looked presentable, that he looked like he belonged where he was going tonight.
James had been put to bed an hour ago, and in the other room the nanny was watching TV. Everything at home would still run smoothly if he left now and he looked fine.
Aiden opened the door, expecting to see a driver there, and stifled a little squeak of surprise to see Alexander. He'd never have imagined Alexander Moretti in his run down apartment block and seeing him here he did look out of place. Aiden stepped out into the hallway, shutting the door behind him quickly. "Shall we go?" He asked, eager that they hurry and leave before Mr. Moretti realised how much of step down from the boy's he usually dated Aiden really was.
