Alexander was waiting at the line the police had already formed a safe distance from the burning building, although now it smouldered and a cloud of thick black smoke billowed up into the sky, dark against the evening clouds. He looked worried, and as soon as he saw Aiden, soot and dirt on the young man's face he pushed forward, ignoring the officer that tried to stop him.
"Aiden!" He said, tone as worried, concerned as he looked. "Are you alright?" He said, drawing the young man away and back towards the limo. "You disappeared and all there was was smoke." Alexander said, wiping some of the dirt from Aiden's cheeks. "They wouldn't let me follow you."
