"No, not weird. I meant. . . for here. They just want everyone to look boring and the same," Dustin answered uncomfortably. Although really, the other man WAS weird, Dustin figured. He didn't know why it was insulting to be called weird when you had things in your face and cartoon hair. Wasn't that TRYING to be weird?
Not that Dustin had any actual room to call anyone else weird. He was a gay, masked superhero. It wasn't like he was normal. But he didn't go around tattooing that on his forehead, either. If he did, and people called him weird, he'd expect it, right?
"Oh. . . okay. Sorry. Well they do take out through the front too. I can go in and take care of it for you if you want though." Everyone hated doing take out orders, so no one would fight him for it. Take out never tipped, so it was just a waste of time and usually the newest server got stuck with it. But Dustin figured he could make the effort, since he'd insulted the guy.
