Aiden smiled half-heartedly. He didn't normally believe in sinking to petty acts of revenge but the thought made him happy, even if it was impractical.
"I'm afraid it wouldn't work. He's coming here to pick James up but its weekdays and I can't afford to wait around for him when I have to be in work." Aiden said. He knew, effectively, that this would be him making Danny wait but he couldn't shake the feeling that more often than not he'd be the one anxiously checking his watch. He'd better keep the nanny on speed dial just in case something more pressing happened for Danny. "Hunter...you're always in right, and you like James? I've got to rearrange my schedule with my nanny and calling at the last minute is never a great idea. It's just, if Danny does flake out..."
If he did it on a weekday then most of the people Aiden relied on to help him out at short notice would be at work, or class.
