Rachel liked the Monday meetings: they gave her the necessary rush of adrenaline to start the week. She liked beginning her week showing off what she had done and setting the targets for the next days.
She displayed no signs of tiredness. Her make up was perfect, her suit was flawless, her gestures, precise. One thing she did care for was her image. She had a searing hot coffee on her right hand and a bunch of papers spread in front of her, and looked as serious and determined as always.
"Sure thing, Alexander. Have I let you down before?" She smirked before sipping her cappuccino. Indeed, she had never lost a case during the time they had worked together. "I wouldn't let something small like this to go to court. I took the matter in my own hands to make sure it wouldn't happen." A few minutes of mind reading and influencing on hearts and minds had been just enough. She generally spoke though affirmatives sentences like those, and had the habit of micromanaging to make sure everything was going okay. She wasn't an efficient leader for no reason.
