Still looking up at the man, Cassie was always looking up at people, she examined his face, trying to figure out what he was thinking. He had helped her out back there, but playing superhero was a dangerous game and she wasn't sure who she should trust. She kept staring up at him, hopeful that she had found someone who cared about the city as much as she did.
She couldn't help but to laugh a bit at his comment about her capability to handle the situation.
"Well, you certainly managed to handle it quicker than I could have."
She looked out when she noticed the lights from the police cars at the convience store. If he hadn't arrived, she'd still be there, and there was a good chance one of her father's co-workers was on the scene. She couldn't risk getting caught. Involuntarily frowning she lost herself in thought about trying to better disguise herself, maybe a wig was in order. If not for his question, she would have lost herself in trying to decide the best way to hide her identity. She paused for a few moments, looking back to the man, before responding.
"Firefly."
Cassie knew how precisely laughable it sounded as she said it, standing up straight and posturing herself to look as heroic as possible without being ridiculous.
