Some days were business days. Katherine didn't have to manage only her shares in the stock market or her investments on the realm state market, what generally could be done with no great efforts, but also had a few stores. Nothing too big, nothing too major, just something for her to practice, get the hang of having a business, keep it up and working.
Dressed in black pants and a white business shirt, she was having a quick meeting with the manager when the waitress interrupted. Katherine hated interruptions. She gave the girl a sharp look and told the manager to fix it.
He was nervous, sweating a little, when he began dialing the number of a "very good technician", in his words. That man knew the internet was having some small problems. Why hadn't he fixed that? How hard it was?
Katherine put her pen down and decided to talk to the costumer herself, not believing a sweaty, fretty manager would leave a good impression on anyone. After the waitress pointed her the costumer, she walked towards him.
He was a rather handsome man, she couldn't help but notice. He looked like a Greek statue, and it was easy to tell how tall he was. She stood in front of him. "Good afternoon. I'm Katherine Williams, the owner of this cafe. I would like to apologize about this incident with the wifi. Apparently my manager forgot to have it examined when I asked him to. We already have someone coming here to fix it, if you would kindly wait a few minutes. As a way to make up for the incovenient, please consider your expenses of today on the house." She said, looking into his eyes.
