Calvin sighed happily as he meandered aimlessly through the bookshelves. He didn't get to spend enough time around books, and he much preferred them to the plethora of cleaning fluids he was stuck with all day.
His steps led him up and down the aisles, his dreamy eyes barely registering the titles around him. As he rounded a corner, he noticed something that caught his attention, snapping him out of his haze. "There's something you don't see every day," he thought to himself. "Two people shorter than I am. Curiouser and curiouser." Although he was not usually terribly conscious about his five feet and six inches, he'd never been quite as aware of it until now. As he wandered closer, though, he noticed his stomach beginning to clench. He'd seen that man before, somewhere. Hadn't he? He couldn't be sure.
Backing against one of the bookshelves he stared searchingly at the man's profile. Where had it been? It was like trying to remember a dream.
