Startled by the voice, Teagan peered through a row of books to find out who was talking. A woman, she thought at first, and then after a moment realized that she was mistaken. No, not a woman, though the size was misleading. Teagan wasn't used to seeing men that were close to her in height. Hell, she was often the shortest girl in the room.
Deciding that she could at least do her job occasionally, she stepped out from her row and into his, to see what he was trying to get at. She was still shorter than he was, she noticed, but not by all that much. The thought brought a smile to her lips. "Hey, can I help you?"
