It was unnerving, realising you had nothing to hide, nothing you could hide. Good thing then that this woman wanted to be on her side rather than someone else’s.
She nodded. In truth Megan didn’t care what the woman’s reasons where but at least she had some idea now that this wasn’t some sort of sting set up by Moretti. The man was smart; he could easily plan something like that.
“Sure. Where do you want to go?” Megan wasn’t about to take the woman back to where she lived, even if she probably already knew the address and the way. Some things where just personal, especially when your mind and thoughts weren’t.
