He arched a brow only slightly at her covering her mouth, she was well-mannered and it spoke volumes about her up-bringing. Maybe she was the country club crowd..or maybe her parents were just old-fashioned, he didn't allow it to bother him to much as he watched her quietly with that boyish grin only hinting at the corner of his lips. It didn't quite crack his features fully, instead just lightening the normal frown that rested there as he tended to look 'grumpy'.
"Hmm, I would have to say that mad scientists have more fun. Flashy ray guns and super computers and the like. And these books? No, they're to help me with some personal research..though I probably used a friend's copy when I was in Drayden's class."
He patted the books softly, pursing his lips a bit in thought and then turning to look back at the woman again. He couldn't quite place her or why she'd need the book she was holding, but then again not everything was the simple answer one would expect. No, indeed..earlier today had proven that. He extended his hand politely, no need to be coy and the like when he had a perfectly good opportunity in front of him.
"Stanley May, Mrs...?"
He used the other hand to push those brown strands away from his strong features and then adjusted the zipper down the front of his hoodie a bit more, it seemed to get a bit warmer in the building and he could use the ventilation. Meeting a new person, who just happened to be a stunning woman, was a welcome distraction from the thoughts he'd been mulling over since his meeting.
