Audrey's first reaction, admittedly, was to stare at him. She blinked once his words made it through, and she laughed humorously, making sure to keep some degree of silence as she placed her hand over her mouth. It wasn't a library but old habits died hard, and besides that, the place was very quiet as it was, only humming with the little activity present. She looked around briefly and focused back on the man before her.
"More like B, I was a little undecided on whether to become a mad doctor or an equally mad scientist. Maybe a mad doctor-scientist hybrid.." she trailed off, tapping her chin as though she was seriously contemplating her supposed overnight career choice. Although mad doctor did sound interesting!
But bloody. Terribly bloody and she wasn't an earnest fan of blood. Audrey smiled at him jokingly, admiring the color of his eyes silently. "So, I'm going to assume you're shopping for books for this Mr. Drayden, and his obviously enlightening class," she continued, looking over the other titles curiously.
