keyleth has joined the party!
Hi all! I'm Alice, I stumbled in here from an advertisement (and me being on a big nostalgia kick), and I bring you Keyleth from Critical Role. If you're not familiar with the show, it's, uh, nearly a thousand hours of content that consists watching a bunch of people whose voices you probably recognize do improv with each other and scream at tiny pieces of plastic when, as statistically speaking they often do, they turn up low numbers instead of high ones. Interspersed with product placement.

And I love it, and, well, here I am.

Keyleth is a half-elf druid from a somewhat stereotypical D&D world; socially awkward and good at turning into animals, well-intentioned but kind of a mess, she'll be very much at a loss in this new setting. She's coming in after the conclusion of the campaign that tells her story (so campaign one spoilers ahoy y'all), and after the live "Search for Grog" game. I'm looking forward to interacting with folks!

Ha how fun! I love when they get silly like that. TAZ is my first DnD thing ever so you know it was a good way for me to dip my toe in, made me much more interested in like the more by the rules DnD. I might have to give Crit Role a go and see how I like it.

I somehow turned into a big rule enthusiast, haha. I now spend far too much time going "um, actually, you can hold your action but not your movement". Too bad for whatever else I was supposed to use all that space in my brain for!

100% strong recommend for Crit Role, though. It has become how I survive my 45-60 minute commutes without losing my marbles.

Haha oh no! I still have no idea how the rules work after listening to TAZ, so I think that probably gives you an idea about how they are with the rules. But I loved it, the story was soooooo beautiful and I'd recommend it for that alone.

I'll give CR a shot! I'm always looking for something new to try.
