Who: Alyana, ?? When: A few days after Elia's body is found. The first time. Where: The Red Keep, her family's quarters. Rating: PG13, but subject to change as always. Status: Open! If you have a reason to be there, by all means, come on in!
Alyana reread the missive in her hands. She trusted the spies she had, as much as one could trust someone who made their living deceiving others. But the one who had written the note in question had always been trustworthy and loyal. Bastards of noble blood often were when they didn't grow up resentful and ungracious.
The letter was written in code, of course, but the end result was the same. Someone apparently had savaged and murdered the princess.
Most interesting. As it hadn't been publicly announced, the spy included all of the rumors around the tourney as to what exactly the whorish little princess was supposed to be up to. But nothing changed the evidence. She popped a sweetmeat into her mouth. And apparently this all took place shortly before the Lord Lannister had arrived. Well, that was most interesting, and useful. He was really making things much too easy for her. Mayhap it was a trap. She couldn't discount that possibility.
Absentmindedly, Alyana scratched Hector's head as the overly large dog placed it on her lap. She must make use of this, one way or another... too bad she wasn't there, or at least close enough to have the spy properly interrogated. This was by far the most interesting letter she had received during her stay here.
