Re: In the Taverns!
Elia was some ways behind Jaehaerys- it had taken her a bit longer to grow sick of the feast an feign a headache to be rid of the lot. It was purely chance that she'd stumbled across a frantic page reporting to Lord Haine that he couldn't find Ser Myles, and the King hadn't waited.
She hadn't spared much time for thought after that. If Jaehaerys was having fun without her he was not damn well going to hear the end of it. Abandoning her in that interminable feast? She ought to slap him. But it wasn't temper her eyes were shining with as she made her way down the street in the clothes of a serving girl. There was dagger on her thigh and another in her boot, and her hairsticks were in place.
Elia paused at the entrance to the Golden Hand. There was something familiar about the sellsword lingering near the door but she didn't bother to look closer. There was at least one of her brother's household guards close behind her, but she didn't spare a look for him either as she moved toward the door.
