Re: In the Taverns!
This was one of those nights that were made to be lost in the bottom of a wine jug. He missed Aeric Velaryon and brilliant Ser Stevron Greenfield- lost to the assasins, or gone in the waves... Jaehaerys took a long drink, and his thoughts turned back to the blue Qartheen brew Elia was so fond of. They said it made you see waking dreams if you drank too much-- he wondered if Elia's dreams were sweet enough to welcome into the waking world and envied her.
Instead, Jaehaerys ordered another round of Arbor white for himself and the group of sailors he had joined-a few from the Free Cities but several of them were from Old Town and a couple from White Harbor. The wine wasnt a good vintage, not fit for a castle, but it did its job, and the songs grew steadily bawdier and further off key.
He glanced back at Geric. "This place is frustratingly quiet, have you noticed?" That his words were barely audible over the general commotion did not seem to phase him.
