Geric laughed, unsurprised. But the change was most welcome. Geric had always liked common folk and common places just as well as the fine ones. It would be good fun - especially without the wench. That would have broken his vows. His brothers and his king. They mattered.
"I would not want to limit your fun," Geric replied, glancing around the corner only to find a servant child he trusted. "Find Ser Myles, tell him to meet us immediately at the king's quarters."
He rejoined Jaehaerys and shrugged. "My loyalty is to you and my brothers, no one else," wench or no, he added silently. No man could tempt him either out there on the streets. Not if they weren't one of those. And he didn't like this king that way.
