Since the dust has had time to settle and Damage Control crews have been cleaning up, it might be a good time to review a few basic guidelines regarding the Infinity Stones.
Do not tease, taunt, yell at, threaten to destroy, or tempt fate by poking your Infinity Stone with a stick.
Do not drop it. Do not pour drinks on it (like tea). If you are not fully aware of what it can do, do not even attempt use it. Do not put it in garbage disposals or try to blow them up. Do not try to crush them. Do not attempt to shrink them. If you nuke them or launch them into the Sun or a black hole (we already had this discussion, Stark), they will survive it. As we have seen, doing any of these things can run the risk of backlash, relating to whatever powers that stone has. There is also the slight possibility that destroying a stone might cause it to eventually reform elsewhere in this universe. Unprotected.
If you have a safe place to put your stone, put it there and do not tell anyone else where it is.
If you do not, ask me or Stark. One can be constructed for you. They are already placed into relics so they can be physically held in a safe manner. If any of you have hidden a stone in the safest possible location you can think of, and have easy access to in order to defend it? That's fine. The less who know this location, the better. This is in case they are tortured for information.
The Reality Stone is now secure and will not be leaving the underground bunker again.
I've further enhanced the security with several spells. Without giving the rest of it away, any and all interlopers - regardless of any size, shape, or skills - will be incinerated and risk losing their head. Figuratively at first, and then literally. Stark has a very impressive set of technological deterrents, but I was very thorough. Therefore, I don't advise going in without permission.
We are the last lines of defense against any entities obtaining the stones.
With the exception of the Reality Stone, the stone's current guardians have personal familiarity with these stones. Do everything that you can to protect the Stones, or to protect those guarding them. Thanos is not the only threat, or only one interested in the stones. Through no fault of our own, this planet seems to be a crossroads that the stones pass through. So far, it has been where the Eye of Agamotto was kept for generations, was where the Tesseract was hidden, is where the liquid form of the Reality Stone was released in London, and where the Mind Stone made its way to. I think this is more than a mere coincidence.
