These people whoever they are have got some massive cojones considering they opened fire in broad daylight with armor-piercing rounds

Either that or they're just really fucking stupid

I know which one I'm putting my money on

Neither guy was feeling particularly talkative but I know what police station they were taken to so I'm saying there's nothing stopping us from going in, yanking them out and doing our own interrogation

Crap. First Thor, then me. We got nothing in common except we're not normal humans. So, what, there's a bounty on "enhanced individuals" now?

PS Those rounds are serious overkill for non-armored targets. One went thru a tabletop and right thu my arm too. Didn't explode til it hit a brick wall.

Good. Not every day Captain America extracts bad guys from the NYPD, so private filter is good filter. Putting that on blast isn't a good idea.

There's not much on the phone other than some shaky video of Brandt during the shoot out, some really freaky porn, a couple 'Avengers Watch' twitter follows, and a burner phone number in the contacts. Guess what? Not in service and no location turned on. Probably smashed up in a dumpster somewhere.

Had a nice chit-chat with the guy's ex-wife though? Said he owes about ten years of back child support. Maybe he was trying to score and pay it off. Brandt's an odd target to hit at though, since she's not well known.

I don't know much about Brandt but is there anything special about her? They took aim at Thor because of who he is, but maybe it isn't limited to Avengers but rather anyone who might be different?

They haven't hit anyone else, thankfully

Extremis recipient, so think fire generating, regen capable super soldier science run amuck. Ex-military. [military record link]

Lost an arm, but Extremis grew it back. She's got good instincts. Tried to kill me, and oops, I ended up killing her. On some power lines. I think my next poorly chosen nickname for her is going to be Sizzle Lean instead of Hot Wings.

We had a decent lunch together after she got here, where I didn't manage to get shot at. Bummer.

Give me a few and I'll ask if she remembers doing anything that might've tipped off some onlookers to take a shot at her.
