Christine works best, actually. But titles precede last names, so don't worry about it.

I don't know. It seems that people are indifferent about this reality because it's ...not stable? I'm a completely baseline human who has no concept of anything going on here but that's kind of been my observation.

Yay. I'm memorable.

It's your job again when you're ready for it. Or if you still want to do that. Quill's my personal assistant and brings me coffee and sandwiches, so you two can car pool.

It works in more ways than one! That means if there's any deep space trouble and the visual com is down, satellite's out there always listening. Good test run! Not expected, but thanks anyway.

Good. Stay as far away from them as possible. Working here will help with that. We have these people called lawyers and they can probably get you named a legal ambassador of soulworld, so the government can't touch you. Law stuff. Shrug.

The soulworld isn't exactly a tangible nor lawful place, but whatever you think is best. I am the one of few of my kind to branch out and thrive offworld, if you'd like to name me ambassador of Zehoberei on Terra even though I haven't been home since Thanos took me as a child. Makes as much sense as being the ambassador of a place full of dead souls.

Regretfully, during the recent time slip, whatever transpired in the other universe caused me to suffer memory loss of any later events. I recall leading that unfortunate attack on New York and naught much more. I have only my predecessor's journals, where you are mentioned.

If your memories are shambled, then I suspect something similar has befallen you.

Would you like another illusion so you can pass among the Midgardians without being seen as different?

I'm sorry. It can't be easy to know things happened to you that you can't account for.

My memory isn't intact either, it's true. I remember things in parallel and not in a straight line of progression as one remembers a life. Some things, I don't remember at all, some I remember vaguely like a dream.

Likewise. It seems we are in a similar situation, for that is very much how things are with me. As though I took one step to the right, and it seems my entire timeline abruptly did the same. I'm afraid whatever I initially remembered was blotted out over the course of that month.

Which is unfortunate.

What is decidedly not unfortunate, is that I can meet at your earliest convenience to cast an illusion spell over you.
