It's an Animal House
Who: Gia, Zuma, and possibly Xiu
When: Mid day
Where: The Zoo
What: Zuma is up to no good.

The animals were making their various calls. Gia loved the sound of them all milling in their own areas and settled the proper way. She was peculiar in the fact that when things were like this she was her happiest even if she had a a lot of stuff to get done. Her boots were looking rather worn lately and she couldn't help but ponder back on the earthquake. That had been a disaster, but they'd gotten the animals back where they belonged and they were safe. That was the most important thing to Gia. She needed the animals to be safe because she cared about them.

The bucket dangling from the woman's arm was heavy and she could feel it pressing into her flesh almost harshly. Taking out a bit of cabbage, she approached the small pond and dangled it over the water. The kangaroofish jumped for its meal and the smile on the woman's face was probably enough to light up the whole zoo. She really was happiest when she was around the animals and busy.

HEr body remained loose as she remained crouched feeding the kangaroofish another cabbage. "Hey, Ling, you're going to need to stop and get more cabbage soon!" She hollered at the man that was feeding the tigerhorses their meat. Today was a nice, bright, and sunny day. She figured that the day was going to be glorious and there wasn't a care in the world for her, other than the animals and the zoo.

Zuma snickered in her hiding spot as the zookeeper spoke to the zebra-lionpanda. She talked to it as though the animal understood a word she was saying! Honestly! Animals were not that smart. However, the animal did seem to back down at the promise of meat. She glanced the other way to see some of the other zoo workers chasing the giant ratdog around in circles and she could not hold in a giggle. Zuma quickly clamped a hand over her mouth and looked back to the zookeeper and the zebra-lionpanda.

The animal was almost back to his pen. Zuma frowned at the zebra-lionpanda as though it could see her and her scowl would force it to be more interesting. Well, that was no fun. Quietly as she could, she lifted the latch on the pen nearest her and let the animal out without even so much as checking to see what it was. She moved cautiously into a new hiding spot not too far away but when the animal charged at her, she screamed shrilly...her eyes wide. Not the fun she was looking for!

Most people didn't realize that animals could understand at the very least the tone of what someone was saying. Animals were smarter than people realized. Gia knew that animals really had a deep level of understanding what a person was really saying to them. The tone a person took and whether or not they were afraid played key roles in what happened. It was only a few moments of Gia's time. She lured the animal back into it's pen and was sure to put the latch back into place.

Gia wasn't sure what the hell had happened. It was rather bizarre. Animals didn't get out like this, someone was letting them out and it was pissing Gia off more than a little bit. They were putting her animals in danger. After being sure the zebra-lionpanda wasn't going anywhere else, the woman took a look around and didn't even get to move toward helping another animal. She heard the shrill scream of a girl. Someone was here and had been doing this, of that she was sure.

The bronze skinned woman ran toward the scream, going wide eyed as she saw the cheetahrhino charging at a girl that couldn't be older than a teenager. Gia muttered to herself. "HEY! RUN!" She hollered ahead of her as she ran for the girl, and started waving her arms hoping that the animal would decide to run after her rather than the girl.
