Hey guys. I will be visiting home for a week, and then I hop into my terrifying new job every week day so this is an official notice of hiatus.

I will do what I can when I'm capable, I won't be entirely gone, but I have no idea how much I'll be able to do this upcoming month. I may need to drop a character or two, but we will cross that bridge when/if it comes to that.

HI GUYS!

I have an announcement: I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

After four long months of searching in this town, I finally got a job.

Good news: It's part time, with consistent hours so I know when I'll be unavailable
Bad news: I will be less available than you know, the near 24/hrs I've been available.
Good news: I shouldn't be too slow but when I start (in two weeks) you may see a big drop in my availability.

LOVE YOU ALL and I should still be around frequently enough, so never fear! Jordan will still be here!

Franklin brought all the kidlets into the common room to have a pow-wow. He just wanted them all to be together, lighten a mood, etc, so he could keep an eye on them and everything. Secretly, he was also making sure everything was safe and all clear, before he let them go to their rooms (around midnight).

Feel free to have them complain about it/etc. They probably had popcorn and other bad-for-you snacks and generally had a fun time for a few hours :3 Fun as it gets with an RA around, anyway!

Matt Thomas, 25, single (LADIES???) and beautiful. He's a cocky son of a bitch, mostly due to his father raising him to be confident. Jubilee wasn't ready to be a mother, so she ran off to go do x-men-y-things with the rest of her time and left Matt with his dad, who raised him as best he could. Matt went to New Avalon Academy (his dad is/was a teacher there) and then he went to college in New York on scholarship as a football player. He was a great football player, would've gone pro, but he suffered a compound fracture in his senior year and that effectively ended what would have been a great career. Instead, he finished up with his business degree and decided to put his awesome abilities to work being a Bounty Hunter. He also joined the Defenders, because he thinks rules are stupid.

Abilities are like this;
Synchronicity: Like his father, Matt can sync up his aura to those of other superhumans around him in about a 200ft radius. While he is "synched up" he is capable of copying the abilities of other mutants, and mastering them with greater ease than even they have. It is not uncommon for him to be able to do things with more control or access parts of an ability the main user is not capable of. While he is synched with another person, his body radiates multi-colored light.

Aura Sensing & Tracking: Matt can also sense the auras of others and track superhumans through their bio-signatures. He does this by allowing his aura to lock onto theirs.

Psionic Shields: Like his mother, Matt has an inability to be tracked or detected by telepaths.

DO NOT WORRY - I will not be using your characters powers all willy nilly. I will always ask permission first. SECONDLY - HEY BEAR! I'm hoping we can have Matt be one of Squirrel Girl's superchildren she supernannied for!?

ALSO - He's a player, who probably has cheated, and doesn't really care. SO up for ALL sorts of prior relationships with the ladies, ALL sorts of friends from N.A.A and whatnot, etcetcetc. HIT ME UP

THIS is jordan, presenting you the GLORIOUS franklin richards.

Older brother, though now somehow little brother, to Gale Richards. He is similar to his canon-self in some ways - he dabbled in time travel and reality warping as a child and then as a 20 year old. He believes that when he unleashed his full potential in his early 20's, he was somehow responsible for his little brother's disappearance. He'd never had that much power before, and though he thought he could control it when his brother went missing he blamed himself and placed very strong psionic blocks in his mind to inhibit many of his abilities to being completely latent or not near as powerful as they could, and should, be.

He started out as a Sentry right when he turned 18 and graduated, and was with them all up until the disappearance of his brother in 2010. He instead became a teacher and now teachers World History at N.A.A. He's also the boys dorm R.A. He's very controlled in everything he does. He's focused, and seems unreachable. He used to be a really fun guy, but now he is so wrapped up in his own guilt and sorrow that he comes off as rather depressed, secretive, and unlikable.

His abilities are a shitstorm, but the briefest rundown is; latent reality manipulation that manifests itself in 'luckiness' (psionically blocked from being able to use it), chronokinesis which allows for himself and only himself to travel back and forwards into time. molecular and energy manipulation, telepathy, telekinesis, precognitive dreams, and astral projection.

I highly recommend reading his actual bio here because it's a pretty good read, if i do say so myself.

that beautiful creature right there is abigail drake. daughter of angelica jones and bobby drake, twin sister to tessa drake. and of course, we did fire and ice twins. so while tess takes after bobby, abigail takes after her mother, angelica!

her powers are; Microwave Energy Generation: Abigail has the ability to tap into Earth's electromagnetic field and convert it into microwave radiation emissions, which she can utilize in different ways. Microwaves are comparatively short waves of electromagnetic energy. Abigail continually absorbs microwave energy from her environment, including microwave energy from the stars, and continually broadcasts it at low levels.

• Microwave Energy Manipulation: she glows, melts things, explodes them, etc


• Microwave Emission Heat: causes things to get hot! or melt, you know.


• Partial Microwave Emission Immunity: somewhat immune to the negative effects of radiation from the microwaves, but unconfirmed and may cause damage in the future

personality wise she is WAY different than tessa. she's calm, controlled, and stoic. she has control issues, she's a bit OCD, and a lot less 'fun' than her sister. she's hardly ever spontaneous, a bit of a rule-follower, but generally pretty nice. unless you mess with her friends/fam, then she's ultra-scary.

some quick notes:

• Abigail tends to run a lot hotter than other people. It's like she has a constant fever.


• Winter is her favorite time of year, because it's easier to keep her heat in check. When she gets too hot, she has the tendency to dehydrate, pass out, or get heatstroke.


• She has difficulties controlling her abilities sometimes - things still do randomly melt/explode/catch fire when she's not thinking straight


• It's possible she might end up with cancer because of her abilities.

THIS is Michelle Braddock! She's the daughter of Meggan Braddock and Brian Braddock (aka Captain Britain). She's a Marriage and Family Therapist with her own office on Staten Island, not too far from the school! She took after her mother ability wise, and she's also a SENTRY!!! here's a rundown:

Elemental Empath; Though her mother had a very wide variety of abilities, and so did her father in his own ways, Michelle was born with a fraction of her metamorphic mother's abilities - namely, her empathy and elementalism. These seem like separate abilities, but they are integral to each other. Michelle has an emotional connection to everyone and everything which allows her to do a variety of things with people and everything else.

With people, she is your slightly above average empath - Michelle can read the emotions of overs, manipulate the emotions of others, take on their emotions as her own, or project/broadcast emotions. Her broadcasting is her weakest ability, but it is not unlikely that when she is in a highly emotive state she is capable of changing the emotions of a small crowd. With practice she is capable of, for brief periods of time, changing the emotions of much larger crowds.

As for the elemental portion of her empathy - she is capable of feeling anything that has to do with anything natural. Even man-made objects are made with natural resources (mostly) and she is able to use her empathy not only to feel what they are feeling but to manipulate them to doing her bidding. Her emotions influence the weather, can make plants grow or die, and even cause small earthquakes. Because she us such a highly emotional person and very sensitive to negativity, it is unlikely that she would use her abilities for anything negative like make people angry or destroy things in nature because she would feel their hurt, which is not something she enjoys.

So there's that! She's a loveable sort of woman, very kind and she's a bit of a hippie-activist but she's also the mom type. She's 26, and just starting her practice so if someone needs therapy you know, COME TO ME FOR THERAPY TYPE PLOT STUFF and also ALL THE OTHER PLOT STUFF BECAUSE PLOTS :D
