Cliff Bishop 1. Lots of umms, he tends to rub the back of his head or scratch behind his ear awkwardly when he's either not sure of what to say or think, or he knows what he's thinking and isn't sold on sharing it. He sometimes doesn't finish his sentences in these cases either, or cuts himself off. Occasionally he'll stumble across words here too, but it's partially because his mind sometimes moves faster than he's letting things get out, so partway through a sentence his mind will have second guessed itself and he'll cut himself off.
2. He's pretty sure he does dream, but he only ever wakes up with vague impressions of dreams. Sort of like if he runs past something, it'll be in the his visual periphery, but he won't have a good impression of what it is. That's the general feeling he gets from the times he wakes up post-dreaming.

4. Too quick is the problem. Cliff is a guy very much in his head, and sometimes superspeed kicks in and makes him think even faster. So while some people might second guess themselves later, Cliff gets to that point much faster. As a result he's learned to really filter what he says. For everything he actually says out loud, there are at least 5 times the number of thoughts he's not saying behind it. Other times he'll be nervous enough that he forgets those filters and rambles. So pretty much you'll get minimalism or rambling out of him.
Sometimes when texting he'll forget to hold himself back, because there's no face to face interaction to make him slow down, and he'll type too fast. Usually he catches himself and deletes, but sometimes he does a lot of texts in a row and realizes he should've reconsidered. It's his text form of rambling.
5. Knees and feet. If he's tired out then he usually stumbles back to bed at the end of the day and plops down to give his feet a rest. He also needs to stretch out his knees pretty often because running that much is punishing on them.
6. He's not a religious guy, he didn't grow up in a very religious household so religion isn't a big thing in his life and he hasn't hit the point of exploring it yet. Perhaps other people in his situation would've, but he doesn't think looking to religion will help or fix things so he doesn't try.
7. 1. I think I said this at one point but: He literally burns through shoes. He cycles through running shoes fast, so usually his are new but sort of last season's huge discount rack. He doesn't really care though, so people tend to ask him 'are those new?' about his shoes a lot. 2. Is less awkward over text/net, and is more likely to share that way. He feels safer and less judged, though sometimes if there's a huge lag in response he gets nervous all over again. If he's really worried about a response he might run away from his phone and do a quick circle of the school grounds so he isn't just waiting around. 3. Skypes with his mom a few times a week and is a lot better with talking and sharing things with her than anyone else. He holds back less and she's good at knowing when he's holding back. Unfortunately means he can't hide things from her as well. 4. Can't sleep without covers. Duvet preferably, even if it's summer. It's safe and cocooning. 5. While he's excellent at the button smashing and combo aspect, Cliff will never buy a fighting game ala soul caliber. The sorts of games where it's one on one with multiple rounds, etc. He likes them for short periods of time and to play against other people in the room, but he doesn't like them much when he's on his own.
8. As a speedster he SHOULD be a big multitasker. He has the potential for it, but the way school tends to work is that they want you to sit and focus on one thing, and he doesn't work well that way. I think he mostly needs to embrace multitasking, he can do it, but school and such teach him not to.
