Aleksandr Rasputin Ravenclaw: R, G, H, S
While Al is the adventurous sort, he does a good deal of his adventuring as part of a way to learn things, run into new experiences, and just experience more of life and the world. He's primarily driven by a pursuit of knowledge, not necessarily in the sense of formal education. He likes learning and figuring things out just for the sake of doing it, even if the topic isn't that interesting or useful. Because the world is so full of fascinating things, why should he limit himself? For this I think he'd be put in Ravenclaw.
Second I'd say Gryffindor, for his sense of chivalry and adventure. Next would be Hufflepuff, because he does exhibit all those traits just...not to the level you'd want in a hufflepuff. When he's loyal, he's very loyal, but Aleks has a sort of free floating nature to him that means he's not as...steadfast as perhaps a Hufflepuff should be. He is loyal to family and to the mutant cause in general, but he's not driven or defined by his loyalty to them. Slytherin doesn't fit him well, he's not an ambitious man, he's clever but not in a cunning or resourceful way (unless it's a fight), and he has little sense of self-preservation. Honestly he's far too self sacrificing a guy to be in Slytherin.
