Re: Caylie Gwynn
1. I had used her as a PB for Megan in another game before. :D
2. I imported an old character named Caylie Something-Irish. This Caylie is almost nothing like her now, but that's where she came from. (And originally I just loved the sound of the name for a Felicia Day character - the import's PB).
3. Caylie is pretty good in relationships. She doesn't take them lightly, and she wishes Cal were more romantic in a classical love story kind of way, but she's also genuinely content with what she has. The depth of their connection has helped her realize she doesn't need the flower petals and love notes, even if she would still be more than happy to get them. Her control-freak side can sometimes be a bit much, but not with the relationship itself - it's the other aspects of just being in someone's life. Like wishing Cal were neater, or that he'd put a little more effort into things. She occasionally needs to be told to back off in a way that doesn't make her feel like she's being dismissed. But she's also a dyed-in-the-wool nurturer and that doesn't mean just the symbolic gesture of feeding people (which is an equally big component of relationship bonding for her). She shows her love through comforting gestures and acknowledgements.
