magic mike
1. There's really only one significant difference between Mike and his PB, and that's his diamond left hand. He's 6'2" and very nicely toned (seriously, Jesse Williams' body is so yummy). He's got no scars or tattoos. He stays clean-shaven because he hates stubble, and he keeps his hair cropped short because it's much easier to take care of that way. When it comes to body hair, he doesn't have much naturally, and he removes most of what's left. I think, when it comes to what other people would notice about him, it comes down to broad shoulders, a tall, athletic build, and a very expressive face.
2. Mike's style is, for the most part, expensive and tasteful - when he's off duty, that is. He wear scrubs and a lab coat to work, obviously, and he pulls them off in the totally unfair way that boys in scrubs can. When he's just hanging out, everything is tailored - even his t-shirts and jeans. Everything he owns is form-fitting and flattering. He doesn't have old beat-up anything; if he's going to do something weird like paint or work on his car (please, that's what mechanics are for), he just picks the clothes he was closest to getting rid of anyway. If they're ruined, he throws them out; if they get messed up enough that he wouldn't want to wear them again, he sends them to Goodwill. Everything is crisp and pressed and basically looks like a TV wardrobe. He also doesn't buy any of it himself, but works with the personal shoppers at the stores he frequents.
Color-wise, he's into earth tones and neutrals for the most part, avoiding big, bold or flashy colors and patterns. The one exception would be pinstripes, which he likes on his suits, though he fully appreciates the need for solid colors in those, too. If you ask him, he'd pick style over comfort, but he also knows that if you buy right, you don't have to sacrifice either. (You just have to pay a lot more for the combination sometimes.) He will occasionally fall into the trap of thinking that expensive clothes are automatically better than cheap ones, but when it comes to his wardrobe, he's actually right. His stuff is made to last and he looks damn good in it.
Despite how well he can pull of a suit, he rarely dresses very formally. T-shirts and jeans with the occasional polo-style shirt for the most part (maybe some nice chinos) when he's hanging out; he hates wearing shorts simply because he thinks they look tacky. Winter is pea coats and stylish sweaters and dark denim - in the winter, he looks like he just stepped out of a fashion spread, for serious. He takes his underwear seriously and owns more pairs of silk undies than you might think possible. It's all black - all of it - and style-wise it stays in the boxer-brief family, though length varies from mid-thigh to even with his package. Socks, on the other hand, come in all colors and patterns and he's usually got a vibrant, funky pair of socks on underneath whatever else he's wearing.
The only jewelry he wears is a nice, thick, platinum-plated Rolex.
