Alex McCoy
21. Hahaha, no. Kinda hard to tattoo fur.
22. Time paradoxes are no one's friend. Alex has read most of the major theories regarding these and is pretty sure that when he inevitably finds himself in the wrong time - because, c'mon, that's just how the world works for people in his community - he's going to stay put and wait for someone else to fix it. :P Though he does think it would be cool to hang out with Einstein.
23. Not really, but also yes. He doesn't actually believe it, but superstitious beliefs and behaviors are really compulsive in nature, so he tends to indulge in them since they're somewhat socially sanctioned.
24. No fucking idea. He usually doesn't even think of romance. He'd love to have a boyfriend or girlfriend, but there's a good chance he'd half-view it as some kind of experiment.
What he needs is someone who can understand his needs as someone with severe, but manageable, OCD, and of course someone who's actually attracted to his very unorthodox appearance. Ideally, he'd have a very smart partner - he dumbs himself down some to fit in, but he needs someone who will inspire him to reach his potential, not hide from it. His ideal mate is also probably adventurous; Bex and Beau have dragged him pretty firmly into that category and he doesn't want to go back to being boring. And someone active, or else they won't be able to keep up with him.
25. About half the time, he tends to refer to them as his paws, because really. They're covered in the same double-layer of fur as the rest of his body, though the fur is a bit thinner on the very tips of his fingers; that, combined with his enhanced sense of touch, allows him to feel textures as well as someone with bare skin. He's got sturdy, retractable claws on all his fingers, and they're incredibly dexterous. They're also frickin' enormous - if they weren't so nimble, he'd have a really hard time working on electronics and the like.
Bonus! Alex's parents' house is huge and amazing. It's a sprawling, modern complex, because his dad just designed the whole thing. He loves his room there. It's spacious enough for all his hobbies and interests to be displayed proudly, with all the design savvy of a teenage nerd genius (meaning none at all).
At the Academy, his room is much less impressive and the emphasis is way more on order and tidiness so he doesn't lose his mind sharing his space with Beau. Most of his stuff is blue, but other than that, the only real dominant feature is the meticulously ordered nature of his work area, and the totally messy recreational/sleep area.
