Mike Muse
21. Nope. He had one on his right bicep once, but the next time that skin turned to diamond, the ink from the tattoo was purged. It was a caduceus with the date of his father's death.
22. He would joke and say he'd want to go back to witness the invention of beer or scotch or something, but really he'd want to go to Woodstock. Seriously. The dude likes music. Maybe a Hendrix concert, because hippies are kinda gross, but hey, free love, man.
23. Not in the least. He thinks the world is fucked up enough as it is without needing to worry about things like breaking mirrors and walking under ladders.
24. He has no freaking clue. Part of him wants someone really laid back, who wouldn't hassle him, but that's just the kind of person he picks up at bars. The other, quieter part of him wants someone who would actually look out for him and help him with all of his many problems (or at least some of them). And, as surly as he is, he's also a caretaker, so someone who needs him would be nice. He needs a purpose bigger than himself, cause he obviously doesn't care enough about himself to make things work, and he thinks a romantic partner could/should at least be part of that. But he also doesn't really think he deserves the kind of person he wants. Aside from those big, nonspecific things, someone who likes music, road trips, picnics - just good, old-fashioned kinda fun, who can take his sarcasm.
25. He's got the same large hands that most guys his size would have. No calluses or scars, of course, but his left hand is (almost) always organic diamond. He wears a thick watch to cover the dividing line between flesh and diamond. His fingers are pretty dexterous thanks to his medical training and guitar practice.
Bonus! Mike has a stupid little room in the Academy. He resents it a little, because of the (relative) lack of privacy, but not much because it means he gets to hang on to more of his paycheck. His room is pretty dark: blackout curtains on the window and black or maroon furnishings. He doesn't have much in the way of furnishings, but everything he has is actually pretty nice because he can afford it.
